3:11 am	The end is near :( So I go into work today and find out their giving us a pizza lunch along with soda and crap like that. Me being the simple cynic that I am automatically figured ohh great this is the goodbye meal so I said it outloud and everyone kinda looked at me funny like I didn't know what I was talking about. So we go throughout the day with little to no work and the pizza's didn't come til about 2:30 and we were told to wait for 2nd shift to come in cause they were coming in early. So right then and there I knew we were getting news that the contract was ending soon so I said it again. Everyone still looked at me funny like I was crazy. So we all sit down and eat the pizza and whatnot and we are told we are allowed to leave afterwards *BUT* they want to talk to us first. Bossman comes over and starts off by saying *Well as many of you know this project is winding down...* Well no shit, wait, was Rich right all day ? OMFG no way ? REALLY ? ? ? Then he goes on to tell us that the project will be ending on Tuesday of next week and they will be asking 2-3 people to stay on for an extra 10 days or so to help with the finishing touches on the project. These people haven't been determined or talked to yet and this will be done over the next day or so. Just makes me laugh that the people are so oblivious to the things going on around them as they all had shocked looks on their faces like they thought it was going to go on forever. Either way I'm just hoping I hear good news from the interview that I had at Ikea the other day as a helpdesk tech. Just cross your fingers for me or something. 3:08 am	Change of plans... I figured what the hell, for the first week or 2 I'll post 1 piece of art everyday, got 3 pieces up so far with more coming. Let me know what you all think of them so far and if anyone knows of a way to get better quality out of scanning artwork in please fill me in. Also just finished drawing another portrait for a guy I work with of his grandkids, not sure if I'm getting paid for this one or not so I didn't put much effort into it. 3:06 pm	Recruiters, job offers and how many jobs you can get at once... So I've been back from Texas for over a month now and within that time I've had 5 interviews, talked with 9 recruiters, got hired for 2 jobs, had one job offered pulled back because of technicalities *AKA BULLSHIT* and am still waiting to find out when the other one starts. Got turned down for my first one today because I've been working for larger companies and they are looking for someone that has more experience with a tighter knit group of people who all share the responsibility. IE: FUCKING LAME I say this because I have personality and would have shared the responsibility with them and would have been a great fit with their company had they given me the chance. I also turned away a job the other day because of the travel time, location, pay rate and just plain suck, it would have been in a law office where I would have had to wear button down shirts and tie's everyday and that's just not gonna fucking happen EVER. I get more and more calls from recruiters on a daily basis and it's great and all but stop screwing around and give me a fucking JOB already and don't take it away from me. 9:30 am	Things that suck for 100 Alex... DOCTORS SUCK Birthdays SUCK Medications SUCK Parents SUCK People who talk on cell phones while driving SUCK Not knowing what's wrong SUCKS Having to start a new job SUCKS Not having money SUCKS Siblings SUCK As you can tell there's just a bunch of shit that sucks lately especially the doctor part which has me beyond pissed. So I've always had trouble sleeping and my family doc prescribes a drug called clonazepam for me to help me sleep. This was prescribed for me about 8 months ago. "Helps me sleep somewhat" So about 2 months ago or so now I asked the neurologist to prescribe something different or stronger for my legs because there still in alot of pain and maybe trying something different will help the pain out better. So he says well I can put you on this *NARCOTIC* OHHHH NOOO BAD DRUG BAAAAAAAAAAAD "him thinking because he says narcotic to me that I might think it would be very helpful or some shit" Turns out the drug he wants to put me on is ohhh wait, take a guess, here's the punchline folks CLONAZEPAM yup that's right, the same shit they put me on to help me sleep. Me not thinking because I take so many wonderful medications I think ok well fine I'll try it out. Couple of days ago I came to the realization that they were the same medication and it just pisses me off even more. How could an asshole doctor prescribe a sleeping pill for pain and a pain pill for sleep, so I look into it and the pill is for neither it's for FUCKING SEIZURES. Now here's the interesting part, not once with all the problems I have had have I ever had a seizure so you tell me what the fuck either of them are thinking ?
